As opposed to free email solutions, you can give your business a more professional image with Business Email by getting email that is branded with your company's domain name (for example sales@mybrand.com). You also benefit from advanced email technology that gives you low latency and industry-best uptime, scalability and reliability. An email service served out of the cloud also means no IT, hardware, software, bandwidth or people costs — and you can add accounts as and when your team grows.

You can send and receive mail using any desktop client such as Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, Apple Mail or Windows Mail. The service supports the POP, IMAP and MAPI protocols, and we have guides covering how to configure each of the common clients.

Your webmail is available on the white-labelled URL http://webmail.yourdomainname.com. On the login page, sign in with your full email address and its corresponding password.

Your email can be accessed from any smartphone or tablet. The webmail interface is built on HTML5 and JavaScript and works on all major mobile operating systems, and you can also connect the device’s native mail app over IMAP.

Each account includes 5 GB of dedicated email storage. If someone needs more, you can top up individual accounts with additional 5 GB storage blocks rather than upgrading the whole plan.

The standard outgoing (SMTP) port is 25. Some ISPs block port 25 to limit spam; if yours does, use the alternate submission port 587 instead.

Yes. You can create mailing lists, add and remove users, appoint a moderator, restrict who may join, or ban a user from a list. Full instructions are in our knowledgebase.

We take a zero-tolerance stance on unsolicited email, bulk emailing and spam. Purchased lists, “safe lists” and the selling of lists are all treated as spam, and any account sending it may be terminated with or without notice.

Yes. An auto responder sends a pre-set reply automatically as soon as a message arrives at the address — useful for out-of-office notices or acknowledging enquiries outside business hours. Setup instructions are in our knowledgebase.
